The Los Angeles Lakers secured the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference playoffs, earning them a matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the postseason.

And superstar Luka Dončić believes the team has the goods to make a title run:

The Dončić addition has certainly helped. The team has gone 18-10 with him on the court this season, a 64.2 percent winning percentage. To put that in perspective, the Oklahoma City Thunder are the only Western Conference team with a better overall win percentage this season (.829).

Obviously, an 82-game sample size is far more indicative of a team's true ability and upside than a 28-game sample size. But when you add a player who has averaged 28.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.5 assists for you since his arrival, like Dončić has in Los Angeles, your title odds certainly go up.
