Bradley Beal Says He Hopes to Remain with Suns in 2025-26 amid NBA Trade Rumors
Bradley Beal would like another chance to run it back with the current Phoenix Suns' core.
The Suns guard spoke with reporters following the team's 117-98 victory over the San Antonio Spurs Friday night. When asked about whether the team should stick with its current design or blow it up, Beal expressed his hope to get another crack.
"I love Phoenix," Beal said, per Gerald Bourguet of PHNX Sports. "I love being here. I hope I can continue to be here. But I know Mat [Ishbia], he's gonna probably make some changes, but I enjoyed this group...I think that's what kinda hurts us the most is that we were a connected team"
Beal scored 21 points and added six assists and four rebounds in the victory. He averaged 17.0 points, 3.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 53 games this season for the 36-45 Suns.
Beal, who will turn 32 in June, is one of two players (along with LeBron James) that has an explicit no-trade clause in his contract.
So even if the Suns do look to shake things up and shop the veteran this summer, Beal will be able to control his own destiny and stick around in Phoenix for the foreseeable future.
