Jalen Milroe Reportedly Will Visit Giants, Rams, Seahawks After Browns Meeting
Jalen Milroe is reportedly gaining plenty of traction and interest around the league as the NFL draft approaches.
Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reported Wednesday that the Alabama quarterback scheduled visits with the New York Giants, Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks after already meeting with the Cleveland Browns this week.
The Giants immediately jump out from that list seeing how they have the No. 3 pick in the draft and could be a candidate to take Shedeur Sanders if the Browns pass on the Colorado signal-caller with the No. 2 pick.

Yet New York could also choose to pass on Sanders and perhaps select a quarterback who is seen as more of a long-term project in the latter rounds. Milroe would fit the bill as a high-ceiling playmaker who could sit behind Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston at the start of his career and learn before eventually taking over down the line.
He could also play that role on the Rams with Matthew Stafford or on the Seahawks with Sam Darnold.
Stafford, 37, has recently contemplated retirement, so Los Angeles surely wants some type of long-term plan once the two-time Pro Bowler hangs it up. And Darnold is only under contract with Seattle for three years with a potential out in 2027, so it too could use a long-term backup plan.
Milroe likely will be a project at the NFL level, but he also brings a combination of speed and the ability to throw the deep ball that surely stands out to interested teams.
"He's one of those guysโif you see it, you go get him," a scout told Schultz. "He might not start Day 1, but in this quarterback class, his ceiling is too high to ignore."
B/R's NFL Scouting Department ranked Milroe as the fifth-best quarterback in the draft behind Cam Ward, Sanders, Jaxson Dart and Will Howard in its latest big board of prospects. Ward might end up being the No. 1 overall pick, while Sanders has widely been seen as a first-round selection.
Yet there are plenty of question marks at the position after that, which makes Milroe's ceiling so intriguing for teams that could make him a short-term backup and a long-term starting option.
