
Warriors' Draymond Green Favored in Latest 2025 NBA Defensive Player of the Year Odds
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green could be hoisting a Defensive Player of the Year Award at the end of the 2024-25 season.
Green is the current favorite on FanDuel Sportsbook for the award, with Cleveland Cavaliers forward Evan Mobley, Oklahoma City Thunder forward Luguentz Dort, Atlanta Hawks guard Dyson Daniels and Memphis Grizzlies center Jaren Jackson Jr. rounding out the top five.
Green currently has -470 odds while Mobley is +360, Dort is +1000, Daniels is +7500 and Jackson is +9500.

Green won the award during the 2016-17 season and is consistently in consideration for it. He is averaging 5.1 defensive rebounds, 1.4 steals and one block in 63 games.
Mobley has been a major factor for the Cavaliers, who sit in first place in the Eastern Conference. He is averaging seven defensive rebounds, 1.6 blocks and 0.8 steals.
Dort has averaged 2.9 defensive rebounds, 1.1 steals and 0.6 blocks for the Thunder and has been a stabilizing presence for a team that has surged to the best record in the NBA.
Daniels has been a prolific perimeter defender for Atlanta in 2024-25, setting the franchise single-season record for steals. He is averaging 4.2 defensive rebounds, 3.1 steals and 0.7 blocks.
Jackson is the only center on the list and has averaged 4.5 defensive rebounds, 1.6 blocks and 1.2 steals. He notably won the award in 2022-23.
The award has been won by a center in the last two seasons and in three out of the last four seasons.
