Shedeur Sanders Showed 'More Power' Than Expected at Colorado Pro Day, NFL Exec Says
A "top-level executive" came away impressed with Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders after his Pro Day on Friday, to the point where he thought he showed "more power" and "more velocity" than expected, per Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports.
Sanders impressed at Colorado, especially last season, when he threw for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns (10 interceptions) while completing 74.0 percent of his passes.

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap ๐ธ

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The latest B/R NFL Scouting Department big board has Sanders as the No. 2 quarterback prospect and the No. 18 player overall. The latest B/R NFL mock draft has Sanders going No. 9 to the New Orleans Saints.
At this juncture, all signs point toward the Tennessee Titans taking Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick. NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe reported Thursday that Ward is the "leader in the clubhouse," although it's not a lock just yet.
If Ward goes No. 1, the question is where Sanders ends up. He's largely considered QB2 in this draft, and there are multiple teams who need help at the position.
Sanders' Pro Day could certainly help matters, as reviews clearly favored his performance. Of note, the Cleveland Browns (picking second) and the New York Giants (choosing third) had huge contingents in Colorado Friday.
Sanders could very well go second or third to either Cleveland or New York, both of whom need long-term answers at QB.
We'll see soon enough when the draft begins on April 24 in Green Bay.
