Shedeur Sanders Jokes He's 'Waiting on My Percentage' After Deion's Colorado Contract
Shedeur Sanders joked that he's waiting to see some proceeds from the contract his father Deion Sanders signed to commit to coaching Colorado through the 2029 season.
"I'm just waiting on my percentage, that's it," Shedeur said when speaking to reporters during Colorado's NFL showcase on Friday (4:45 mark, h/t DNVR Sports.) "That's all I'm waiting on, is my percentage. Soon as he got his check, I'm just waiting on my percentage."

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Deion Sanders originally signed a five-year, $29.5 million deal to leave Jackson State and join Colorado ahead of the 2023 season.
His new five-year, $54 million contract will offer him a higher annual salary while extending his deal for an additional two years.
The Buffaloes hired Sanders after finishing the 2022 season with a 1-11 record.
The head coach, who brought Shedeur and future Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter with him from Jackson State, led Colorado to a 4-8 record in 2023.
The Buffaloes improved to 9-4 and made a bowl game appearance in 2024, during Shedeur and Hunter's last year with the program before entering the NFL draft.
Colorado's re-commitment to Sanders is a vote of confidence that he will be able to lead the program to continued success despite losing his two biggest stars to the pros.
But there's no question Shedeur, who led the Big 12 with 4,134 passing yards and 37 touchdowns while pacing the FBS with a 74 percent completion rate during his senior season with the Buffaloes, is taking some credit for the success his father's program found during his two seasons in Boulder.
Shedeur Sanders, who worked out in front of multiple NFL head coaches and general managers during Friday's pro day, is listed as the No. 18 overall prospect on Bleacher Report's latest 2025 NFL Draft Big Board.
