Thunder's Chet Holmgren Jokes About Viral Photo, 'Even I Thought This Was Me'

Oklahoma City Thunder center Chet Holmgren had some fun with a viral photo of a man sitting on another man's shoulders.

"Even I thought this was me," Holmgren joked in a post on X.

The 22-year-old, who stands at 7'1" and weighs 208 pounds, is in the midst of his second season and third overall year with Oklahoma City.

Holmgren's frame makes him stand out while he's on the court, especially with his 7'5" wingspan.

It also allows him to make his presence felt on both ends of the floor, as he's averaging 2.3 blocks per game in his career. Holmgren has also proved himself as a capable long-range shooter, hitting 36.7 percent of his three-point attempts since the Thunder selected him with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2022 NBA draft.

He's been limited to just 26 appearances this season due to a pelvic fracture, recording 14.8 points and 8.4 rebounds in 27.2 minutes per game on 49.3/35.5/72.0 shooting splits.

Holmgren will look to stay healthy as the playoffs draw closer, with Oklahoma City currently owning the best record in the NBA at 62-12.
