Stefon Diggs Says Patriots 'Trending in The Right Direction' with Additions in NFL FA
The New England Patriots introduced Stefon Diggs on Friday, and the wide receiver expressed his excitement on where the team is headed, saying the Pats are "trending in the right direction" while praising the team's moves.
"I've [spent] 10 and a half years playing this game," Diggs said, per NFL.com's Nick Shook. "It would've been 11 if I didn't get banged up. So I definitely look forward to getting back on track. Young quarterback, a good team, a lot of pieces being added, everything trending in the right direction, something I wanted to be a part of. I feel like I can be helpful, as far as that development with the receivers and everybody involved. For me personally, getting back out there and getting active. I just want to put my talents to use."

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The Pats have overhauled their team after going 4-13 for two straight seasons. Former head coach Jerod Mayo was one-and-done, leading to New England hiring ex-Pats linebacker and ex-Tennessee head coach Mike Vrabel.
Then New England, which began this year with $125 million in cap space, went to work. Of note, the Patriots added defensive lineman Milton Williams, edge-rusher Harold Landry, linebacker Robert Spillane and cornerback Carlton Davis II.
On offense, Diggs is the new superstar, brought in as the team's No. 1 wideout after signing a three-year, $69 million contract. Offensive tackle Morgan Moses and wideout Mack Hollins are also aboard.
Combine all those moves with the presumed and continued ascension of quarterback Drake Maye, and it's looking quite likely that New England will improve this season after a multi-year rut. So Diggs is right to be excited as he finds himself part of a team on the rise.
