Wimbledon 2015 Results: Wednesday Winners, Scores, Stats, Singles Draw Update
Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic are still on course for an epic meeting in the men's final at Wimbledon.
Both pulled off straight-sets quarterfinal victories on Wednesday, and if the two men can survive the semifinal round, they will meet on Centre Court for the championship on Sunday.
Federer is gunning for his eighth Wimbledon crown. He defeated Gilles Simon 6-3, 7-5, 6-2 and, once again, it was his serve that gave him the huge advantage. Federer may not fire the 145-mph blazer that some of the tour's big hitters can rock, but he had 11 aces and and won 44 of 55 points when he got his first serve in.

Simon could not match Federer's 80 percent first-serve success rate. He won 29 of 48 points (60 percent) when he connected on his first serve. Federer also more than doubled Simon in winners, 36-15.
| Round | Winning Player | Losing Player | Score |
| QF | Roger Federer (2) | Gilles Simon (12) | 6-3, 7-5, 6-2 |
| QF | Richard Gasquet (21) | Stan Wawrinka (4) | 6-4, 4-6, 3-6, 6-4, 11-9 |
| QF | Novak Djokovic (1) | Marin Cilic (9) | 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 |
| QF | Andy Murray (3) | Vasek Pospisil | 6-4, 7-5, 6-4 |
Federer has been sharp throughout the fortnight, and that will have to continue in the semifinals when he meets Great Britain's Andy Murray.
"The road is long getting here," Federer told reporters after the match. "But still I feel like I'm fresh and I've got energy left in the tank for hopefully a great match with Andy and then we'll see."

Murray had little difficulty in disposing of Canada's Vasek Pospisil, registering a 6-4, 7-5, 6-4 triumph. Murray regularly dominates with his hard serve, but he was only credited with four aces in this win.

However, Murray was quite resourceful and did not make many mistakes. Murray was charged with just 13 unforced errors, 10 fewer than Pospisil.
Murray regularly forced the action on Pospisil's serve and had eight break-point opportunities. He converted on three of them, and that was good enough to win the match since Pospisil had just one break-point opportunity and failed to convert.

After needing five sets to dispose of Kevin Anderson of South Africa in his previous match, top-seeded Novak Djokovic was back in form in the quarterfinals.
He defeated Marin Cilic of Croatia 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 in a straightforward destruction. Cilic simply had no answers for Djokovic's razor-sharp serve. While Djokovic had just four aces, he won 46 of 58 points on his first serve and was nearly as sharp in winning 17 of 23 points on his second serve.
Djokovic won three of his five opportunities to break serve and committed just 12 unforced errors.

If Djokovic is going to get back to the final to defend his championship, he is going to have to beat 21st-seeded Richard Gasquet of France, who took down French Open champion Stan Wawrinka 6-4, 4-6, 3-6, 6-4, 11-9.

The two men battled each other on nearly even terms for more than three hours, but the match ultimately went to Gasquet.

Additionally, Gasquet made just 24 unforced errors while Wawrinka had a whopping 48.
