Will Howard 'Creating Some Buzz' After Pro Day with Cowboys, More NFL Teams Attending
Will Howard isn't one of the premier quarterback prospects in this year's draft class, but the Ohio State star impressed at his pro day on Wednesday.
Per ESPN's Pete Thamel, six NFL head coaches, five general managers and 141 NFL personnel and coaches were in attendance for Howard's pro day. Howard put on a show for those in attendance, completing 65 of his 67 passes, with the two incompletions being drops.

After his performance, Howard said he feels confident heading into the NFL draft.
"I think I showed that I can throw the ball at every level," he said. "I think, at the end of the day, I feel like my leadership, my intelligence and my arm strength, I believe in myself. It's not a knock to any of the other quarterbacks, but I think I'm the best. I feel like if you don't believe you're the best to come out this year, then why am I doing this thing? I'm confident, I believe what I have what it takes to be a QB1 in the NFL and whatever franchise takes me is not going to regret it."
Howard, who began his career at Kansas State and transferred to Ohio State ahead of the 2024 season, finished his final year with 4,1010 passing yards, 35 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, leading the Buckeyes to a national championship.
Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department considers Howard the No. 54 overall prospect and the third-best quarterback in this year's class, behind Miami's Cam Ward and Colorado's Shedeur Sanders, who are expected to be top-five picks.
