Aaron Rodgers Rumors: QB 'In No Rush At All' to Sign Amid Steelers, Giants Buzz
The Minnesota Vikings reportedly bowing out of the competition to sign Aaron Rodgers may not have increased the quarterback's urgency to commit to a new team.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Rodgers "is in no rush at all" to decide if and where he will be playing next season.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers have yet to commit to a starting quarterback for 2025 as they reportedly wait on Rodgers' decision.
The Athletic's Michael Silver, Dianna Russini and Alec Lewis reported Saturday that Rodgers was "hoping to sign with the Vikings."
Silver, Russini and Lewis wrote that Rodgers had put the Steelers and Giants "on hold" while waiting for Kevin O'Connell's decision.
The Athletic reporters noted it was "possible" Rodgers would consider retirement if turned down by the Vikings.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero then reported Wednesday the Vikings want to add a veteran quarterback but are "not pursuing Aaron Rodgers at this time."
According to Pelissero, the Vikings are currently moving forward with J.J. McCarthy as their projected QB1 after rejecting "multiple trade calls" for the 2024 first-round pick.
That leaves the Steelers and Giants as the top candidates for Rodgers. The Giants have a pending offer with Rodgers, whom the team sees as "the best current option to win games this year," per ESPN's Jordan Raanan.
The Steelers have also reportedly made a contract proposal to Rodgers, per Raanan. Pelissero said Wednesday that Pittsburgh is currently "willing to wait" to hear what Rodgers decides before making a quarterback decision.
The Steelers could ultimately decide to stick with Mason Rudolph as starter if Rodgers goes elsewhere, per Pelissero. NBC Sports' Mike Florio has additionally named Joe Flacco as a potential candidate to sign with the Steelers, Giants, Vikings or Cleveland Browns.
Like Flacco, Russell Wilson may have to wait for Rodgers' decision to sign his next contract. After finishing out his one-year deal with the Steelers, Wilson has been described by ESPN's Jeremy Fowler as a "backup No. 2 option in both Pittsburgh and New York."
