Jimmy Butler Praised By NBA Fans as Warriors Beat Giannis, Bucks with Steph Curry Out

Even with star Stephen Curry out, the Golden State Warriors managed to get past one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference on Tuesday.

Behind a big night from Jimmy Butler, the Warriors downed Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks 104-93.

It was a tight game heading into the fourth quarter, but the Warriors used a 16-0 run to build a double-digit lead heading into the final stretch. The Bucks managed to cut the lead down to as few as three points, but never regained the lead in the final quarter.

Butler fueled the big run for Golden State and finished with 24 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds. Brandin Podziemski added 17 points and a dagger three in the final minute while Buddy Hield had 15 off the bench.

On the defensive side, Draymond Green managed to hold Antetokounmpo to 20 points on 5-of-16 from the field.

The Dubs received high praise after pulling out the win in the clutch.

The Warriors have continued to thrive since the addition of Butler and improved to 40-29 with the win. They're currently sitting in sixth place and are closing in on the fifth-place Grizzlies.

While there's still plenty of season left, Golden State is seemingly getting hot at the right time, and Tuesday's win only adds to the momentum.
