Cooper Kupp Rumors: Broncos Among 5 Teams in Mix; WR Expected to Reach Asking Price
Cooper Kupp reportedly is drawing interest in free agency from the Denver Broncos and "at least four other teams," according to Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports.
Per that report, "As Kupp evaluates his options, sources say he will get the number he wants, despite a slow receiver market."
While that sounds like something a player's agent would leak to inflate his client's leverage on the market, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network also reported that a Kupp resolution is expected soon and that there is "significant interest" with a "number of teams that are willing to pay" likely more than players like Marquise Brown and Dyami Brown received this offseason.

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The Athletic's Dianna Russini reported on Scoop City that Kupp is eyeing $14-15 million in his next deal, although $11-12 million is "more realistic."
Russini listed the Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints as teams currently looking into the wideout, adding the Minnesota Vikings as an option.
The Kansas City Chiefs re-signed Marquise Brown to a one-year deal worth up to $11 million this offseason, while the Jacksonville Jaguars signed Dyami Brown to a one-year deal worth up to $12 million.
Kupp, 31, is more accomplished than both players. The 2021 Offensive Player of the Year and one-time champion has three seasons with 90 or more receptions, two seasons with over 1,000 receiving yards and two seasons with double-digit touchdowns in his career.
Those numbers would be even higher if injuries didn't constantly limit the veteran slot receiver, who has missed 18 games over the past three seasons. One of the factors interested teams have to weigh when considering Kupp is how healthy he'll actually be for the duration of the contract he signs.
When he's on the field, he's a problem. His career stats average out to 104 catches, 1,271 yards and nine touchdowns across a 17-game season. He's only played a full season twice in his career, however.
As for the Broncos, the team has already upgraded its weapons around quarterback Bo Nix, signing tight end Evan Engram. Kupp would give the team a great option in the slot, pairing with Courtland Sutton and Marvin Mims Jr. outside. While Devaughn Vele showed potential in that role last season, few receivers are better in the slot than a healthy Kupp.
It sounds as though the Broncos will have plenty of competition to sign Kupp, however.
