NFL Insider: 'Perception' is Aaron Rodgers Wants to Play for 2 More Years amid Rumors
Whichever team signs Aaron Rodgers this offseason might be getting a multi-season commitment from the 41-year-old.
"I don't pretend to know what goes on in Aaron Rodgers' mind, but there is a perception out there that he wants to play two more years," ESPN's Dan Graziano said during a Tuesday appearance on Get Up (9:55 mark).

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Rodgers playing two more seasons may or may not be exactly what specific suitors want to hear.
After all, the Minnesota Vikings will eventually want to see what they have in J.J. McCarthy after selecting the Michigan product with the No. 10 overall pick of the 2024 NFL draft. Adding Rodgers for two more seasons would only push McCarthy's timeline further back.
Graziano also speculated about the New York Giants as a possible landing spot but noted there may be some fear from veterans that New York could take a quarterback in the draft and turn to the rookie during the season like the Atlanta Falcons did in 2024 when they benched Kirk Cousins for Michael Penix Jr.
Then there is the Pittsburgh Steelers as an obvious quarterback landing spot with Justin Fields no longer on the team and Russell Wilson as a free agent.
Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reported Monday "the Steelers and Rodgers could have an agreement in place as soon as Tuesday." He also suggested the Steelers may be more likely than New York to give Rodgers the two years he prefers since the Giants could clean house and restart heading into the 2026 season if they struggle again in 2025.
Rodgers would have no shortage of weapons in place in Pittsburgh with wide receivers DK Metcalf and George Pickens, and the franchise is among the most consistent in the NFL under head coach Mike Tomlin.
Given that as the backdrop, NFL fans may be seeing Rodgers in a Steelers uniform for the next two seasons.
