Cam Ward to Titans, Shedeur to Giants in Field Yates' 2025 NFL Mock Draft After FA
The first day of NFL free agency is in the books, and it was a busy one.
Big names such as Sam Darnold and Chris Godwin signed new deals, and now the attention turns back toward the NFL draft, which is about a month and a half away.
As the draft approaches, ESPN's Field Yates gave his latest mock draft. There were some significant changes from Yates' last mock draft in February, namely Miami's Cam Ward moving from the No. 3 pick to the No. 1 pick. Here's a rundown of the top five:

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap ๐ธ

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
- Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, QB, Miami
- Cleveland Browns: Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado
- New York Giants: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
- New England Patriots: Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
- Jacksonville Jaguars: Mason Graham, DL, Michigan
Yates' latest mock appears to be heavily influenced by the movesโor lack thereofโthat happened during Day 1 of free agency.
The Titans didn't make a splash by adding a big-name quarterback, so they might have to do so through the draft. Ward is perhaps the best person for the job. The Heisman Trophy finalist had 4,313 yards, 39 touchdowns and seven interceptions in his final campaign with the Hurricanes.
The Giants also failed to land a quarterback on Monday, which sets the stage for them to take one in April. New York will likely take the best name available at No. 3, which would seemingly be Ward or Shedeur Sanders. If Ward goes first overall as Yates projects, the Giants likely wouldn't mind settling for Sanders.
In his final season at Colorado, Sanders threw for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions and looks as NFL-ready as any prospect in this year's class.
The Browns added a quarterback on Monday by trading for Philadelphia Eagles backup Kenny Pickett. While they might want to add a different option under center before the season, the move at least gives them the flexibility to pick up a generational talent in Travis Hunter.
As NFL free agency continues, teams will inevitably fill some holes before the draft, but for now, we have a better idea of how the NFL draft might look this year.
