Report: Josh Palmer, Bills Agree to $36M Contract After Chargers Exit in Free Agency
The Buffalo Bills and wide receiver Josh Palmer agreed to a three-year contract worth $36 million in free agency, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The deal also includes $18 million guaranteed, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Palmer, a third-round pick in the 2021 NFL draft, spent each of the first four seasons of his career with the Los Angeles Chargers prior to the move.

Expectations were high for the 25-year-old entering the 2024 season, but he wasn't able to meet them. Palmer hauled in 39 receptions for 584 yards and one touchdown in 15 appearances.
There's hope that he can continue his positive trajectory with a change of scenery, as his receiving yards per game average increased throughout each of his first three years in the NFL. He averaged a career-high 15.3 yards per reception in 2023.
It's also worth noting that the Chargers didn't rely on their passing attack as heavily in 2024, with quarterback Justin Herbert recording a career-low 29.6 pass attempts on a weekly basis.
Palmer's individual production could improve on a Bills team that owned the No. 2 scoring offense as well as the No. 9 passing attack in the NFL last season.
Josh Allen spread the ball around to a variety of options, as nine players finished with at least 250 receiving yards for Buffalo.
Palmer should be expected to serve as a key contributor for the Bills in 2025 alongside fellow wideouts Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman.
