NBA News: Knicks' Jalen Brunson Out At Least 2 Weeks with Ankle Sprain Injury
New York Knicks star point guard Jalen Brunson will miss "at least two weeks" with a right ankle sprain, according to Shams Charania of ESPN.
Brunson suffered the injury in overtime of the Knicks' 113-109 defeat at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night, landing awkwardly after driving to the basket.

He remained in the game to shoot a pair of free throws before exiting the contest, finishing with 39 points and 10 assists on 13-of-26 shooting.
The 28-year-old was in the midst of another impressive season in New York, earning his second consecutive All-Star nod.
Brunson has averaged 26.3 points, 7.4 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game while shooting 49.0 percent from the field and 38.4 percent from three-point territory in 61 starts.
With the 28-year-old's playing status expected to be updated in two weeks, he won't suit up in at least seven upcoming games for New York.
After the loss to the Lakers, Knicks guard Josh Hart anticipated that Brunson would miss time.
"We’ve got to expect him to be out for a little bit,” Hart said, per Stefan Bondy of the New York Post. “We’ve got guys. Now we have to step up. Other guys’ roles are going to be bigger. There’s more opportunity. Keep it afloat until he comes back, be aggressive, go out there and compete."
New York sits at No. 3 in the Eastern Conference standings with a 40-22 record, holding a 3.5-game lead over the Milwaukee Bucks at No. 4.
Backup point guard Miles McBride will likely replace Brunson in the Knicks' starting lineup, but it'll take a collective effort to replicate his offensive output. All-Star center Karl-Anthony Towns and forward Mikal Bridges could step into larger roles.
New York will attempt to stay afloat without Brunson starting on Friday with a game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Tip-off is at 10:30 p.m. ET.
