Shedeur Sanders Rumors: Titans Meetings 'Went Well' Amid Criticism of QB's Interviews
Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders reportedly had a positive meeting with the Tennessee Titans at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine last week.
According to ESPN's Turron Davenport and Jeremy Fowler, team sources indicated that both the combine meeting and the Titans' meeting with Sanders at the East-West Shrine Bowl "went well."
Sanders, who is in the mix to be the first quarterback off the board in the 2025 NFL draft along with Miami's Cam Ward, did not do any on-field work at the combine, instead opting to save that for his pro day.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
He did meet with teams, however, and some mixed reports have emerged regarding Sanders' performance in interviews.
While the Titans were reportedly happy with how Sanders came across, NFL insider Josina Anderson reported that a quarterbacks coach from a team with a top-seven pick in the draft expressed their belief that Sanders came off as "brash" and "arrogant."
Additionally, NFL draft insider Todd McShay reported that some teams felt Sanders didn't take a "professional approach" to his interviews, while Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda reported that "teams are cooling" on Sanders with some being "a little turned off by his antics since January."
Sanders is the son of Pro Football Hall of Fame cornerback and Colorado head football coach Deion Sanders, so he has been in the spotlight for years.
After starting his collegiate career at FCS Jackson State, Sanders made the move to Colorado with his father in 2023 and delivered two quality seasons.
In his first season with the Buffaloes, Sanders completed 69.3 percent of his passes for 3,230 yards, 27 touchdowns and three interceptions.
Colorado jumped from four wins in 2023 to nine wins in 2024, and Sanders' production improved in the process, as he completed 74.0 percent of his passing attempts for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns and 10 picks.
Sanders was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year for his efforts, and he also finished eighth in the Heisman Trophy voting.
The Titans own the No. 1 overall pick in the draft and have a clear need at quarterback after Will Levis struggled in his second NFL season in 2024.
Per Davenport and Fowler, Sanders is perhaps the best fit among all quarterbacks in the draft for Titans head coach Brian Callahan's offense since he preaches the importance of processing, timing and accuracy.
Also, Callahan was highly complimentary of Sanders after meeting with him at the East-West Shrine Bowl, saying: "He's mature and has a really poised way about him. You could tell he's a guy who has been in the spotlight and knows how to handle himself."
The Titans could take a quarterback such as Sanders or Ward at No. 1 overall, but after winning only three games last season, they clearly have needs at other positions as well, bringing Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter and Penn State pass-rusher Abdul Carter into play.
The Cleveland Browns at No. 2 overall, New York Giants at No. 3 overall, Las Vegas Raiders at No. 6 overall and New York Jets at No. 7 overall are all in desperate need of a quarterback as well, but if Sanders drops past the Jets, it could be quite some time before he hears his name called.
