Lakers' LeBron James Nears 50K Total Points; Prop Odds vs. Clippers Revealed

LeBron James is entering uncharted territory.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar is already the NBA's all-time leading scorer in both the regular season as well as the playoffs. He's now on the verge of reaching 50,000 combined points throughout his career.

James has currently amassed 49,982 points during the regular season and playoffs, needing 18 more points to become the first player to rack up 50,000.

The 40-year-old has the opportunity to achieve the milestone against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday night, with FanDuel Sportsbook releasing his latest prop odds.

James has -3500 odds to score at least 15 points, while his odds of recording at least 20 points and reaching 50,000 are set at -520.

He has -170 odds to score 25 or more points and +162 odds to finish with at least 30 points against the Clippers. James also has +400 odds to reach at least 35 points, +900 odds to record at least 40 points and +1800 odds to finish with at least 45 points.

The four-time MVP has remained one of the NBA's elite offensive players in his 22nd season, averaging 24.9 points and 8.6 assists per game on 52.1/39.5/76.4 shooting splits.

James has particularly excelled as of late, averaging 28.9 points per game over his past 10 appearances.
