NFL: 'No Issue' With Tom Brady, Matthew Stafford Meeting; Rams Gave Raiders Permission
The NFL reportedly has no issue with Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford meeting with Las Vegas Raiders limited partner Tom Brady, per Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
ESPN'sย Sarah Barshopย previously Saturday that Stafford's agent, Jimmy Sexton, has received from the Rams to discuss his market value with other teams. However, the Rams and Stafford have also been talking about a reworked deal as well.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Peter Schrager of NFL Network previously reported that there's a "money issue" the Rams and Stafford, who wants to be paid $50 million per season.
Stafford, 37, currently has two seasons left on a four-year, $160 million extension.
Word emerged from both Ian Rapoport of NFL Network and Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz that Stafford and Brady met in Montana. The circumstances surrounding the meeting differed in the reports, but it was clear the Rams' signal-caller and Raiders' exec had met.
The Raiders' need for a quarterback is no secret. They had three different starters last year in Gardner Minshew II, Aidan O'Connell and Desmond Ridder. While any of them could be capable backups, Las Vegas needs a true QB1 going forward.
So it's no surprise that Brady and Stafford had a chat, and regardless of the circumstances leading up to the meeting, it seems the NFL (and the Rams) may not take issue with the situation.
At this point, though, the bigger question is whether Stafford remains a Ram or gets traded to a team willing to offer him a fatter deal. It's clear the Raiders are interested, but the New York Giants are as well, per ESPN's Jordan Raanan.
For now, Stafford remains a Ram as L.A. looks to improve upon a promising season that ended with an NFC West title and a run to the Divisional Round.
