Photo: Zion Williamson Gets Tattoo of Naruto Seal on Stomach

New Orleans Pelicans star forward Zion Williamson has some new ink, and it comes with a distinctly anime flavor.

Williamson is now rocking a Naruto seal on his stomach, courtesy of Louisiana's Nova Tattoo.

Williamson is a well-documented fanatic of the popular anime series. For one, he helped create an entire line of Naruto-inspired sneakers for Jordan Brand alongside VIZ (the company behind the manga and show).

But it's also helped guide him through difficult periods of his career.

"From what I've been through to get to where I am and what I go through to this day, Naruto has always been there and always will be," he told GQ's Tres Dean in Aug. 2022.

"I had to come to a realization," he added while reflecting upon a broken foot that cost him the entire 2021-22 season and the fan speculation about his passion for the game that followed. "No matter what the world is saying, I have to remember that I am who I am and stay true to that. That's what Naruto did, and that's what I'm going to do."
