LeBron Posts Highlights from Luka, Lakers' Win vs. Mavs Set to Justin Timberlake Song
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James offered his own highlight reel to celebrate the team's 107-99 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night.
Set to Justin Timberlake's "Like I Love You," the video shows off some of LeBron's best plays and ends with a two-handed dunk that resulted from an assist by Luka Dončić.
Midway through the first half, it looked like the Lakers might coast to an easy win. They led by as many as 16 points in the second quarter. But the Mavs steadily chipped away at the deficit and eventually tied things up with 6:17 remaining in the contest.
A putback jam by James with 2:25 on the clock gave L.A. a six-point cushion and pretty much put a button on the proceedings.
LeBron finished with a team-high 27 points along with 12 assists, while Dončić dropped a triple-double (19 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists) in his first matchup with his old team.
As if that wasn't enough for Dallas, Lakers fans serenaded Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison with a "Thank you, Nico" chant in the second quarter.
Maybe the game got a little closer than it should've, but James and his teammates had a lot to cheer about.
