NFLPA 2025 Report Card Grades: Dolphins Best, Cardinals Worst Among All 32 Teams

Adam WellsFeb 26, 2025

The annual NFLPA survey that ranks teams based on various categories related to working conditions determined the Miami Dolphins offered the most favorable atmosphere, while the Arizona Cardinals ranked last.

Per the report cards released on Wednesday, the Dolphins didn't receive a grade below an A (on an A+ to F-minus scale) in all 11 categories.

The Cardinals, on the other hand, received grades of D+ or worse in six categories, with their lowest marks coming in locker room (F-minus) and weight room (F). They do seem to like head coach Jonathan Gannon, who received an A grade.

There were only four F-minus grades handed out. They went to the Cardinals (locker room), Cleveland Browns (locker room), Cincinnati Bengals (treatment of families) and Buffalo Bills (team travel).

In response to the report card, the Cardinals said in a statement they already have a plan in place to build a new training facility that has a target completion date of 2027.

The Bengals are already under a microscope because of the perception that owner Mike Brown opts for cheap solutions rather than fully investing in the team. This has been apparent with how much public lobbying Joe Burrow is doing to get them to retain Tee Higgins and extend Ja'Marr Chase.

There are issues with the Bengals that go beyond how much money Brown is spending on the roster. Even though they didn't finish at the very bottom of the overall NFLPA rankings, they were the only team that finished last in three specific categories (treatment of families, food/dining area and nutritionist/dietician).

On the bright side, Brown can take some comfort in knowing he's not regarded as the worst team owner in the NFL. That dubious honor belongs to Woody Johnson of the New York Jets. He was the only owner to receive an F in the survey.

Looking at things from a positive perspective, not having Daniel Snyder seems to be working wonders for the Washington Commanders' morale. They ranked last in each of the previous two years before jumping up to 11th this year.

The new Commanders ownership group, which is led by Josh Harris, received an A, and Dan Quinn was one of six head coaches who was given an A+ grade.

The team that had the biggest year-to-year jump was the Los Angeles Chargers. They went from No. 30 in 2024 to fifth in 2025. They received a D+ or worse in six categories last year to their lowest grade being a C this year (treatment of families).

There were a total of 1,695 players from all 32 teams who responded to this year's survey. That figure represents about 77 percent of the NFLPA's membership.
