Lakers' Luka Doncic Says He Didn't See Nico Harrison 'in Warmups' in 1st Game vs. Mavs

In his first game against the Dallas Mavericks since being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, star guard Luka Dončić didn't pay the person responsible for the deal any mind.

When asked after the Lakers' 107-99 win if he saw Mavs general manager Nico Harrison before or during the game, Dončić told reporters, "I didn’t see him in warmups."

ESPN's Dave McMenamin reported that Harrison "stood on the sideline at midcourt during pregame warmups," but it sounds like the 25-year-old was focused on what he was about to do to his former team.

Dončić produced his first triple-double as a member of the Lakers, finishing with 19 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists to help lead the team to a third straight victory. He had many moments where he shouted toward the Mavs bench after making a play, but it wasn't clear if he was directing his anger toward any one person in particular.

However, it wouldn't be surprising if Dončić had ill feelings toward Harrison. After making one of the most shocking trades in NBA history, Harrison openly questioned Dončić's commitment to winning and named his conditioning issues as the key reason behind the decision.

Dončić will have one more chance to get revenge on Harrison and his former team this season when the Lakers and Mavs meet in Dallas on April 9. Returning to his former home will bring a whole new set of emotions, so it can be expected that he will be motivated to put forth a dominating performance.
