NBA Fans Troll Nico Harrison, Mavs Ahead of Luka Doncic's 'Revenge Game' with Lakers
All eyes were on Luka Dončić for Tuesday's highly anticipated showdown between the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks, but he isn't the only one under the spotlight.
After all, it was Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison who decided to trade the five-time All-NBA selection to the Lakers in the first place.
Tuesday's game between the Lakers and Mavericks at Crypto.com Arena was the first chance for Dončić to face his former team, but Harrison made his presence known as well during pregame warmups. He was seen on the court as Dončić was getting shots up, which was a jarring visual given the backstory looming over the game.

Luka Unlikely to Start Series
Harrison's decision to trade Dončić was largely met with derision from Mavericks fans, and there was no shortage of mocking on social media Tuesday as well:
Dallas fans went as far as protesting the move outside American Airlines Center with signs and chants calling for Dallas to "fire Nico" after it happened. While Anthony Davis is an excellent player, Dončić was the face of the franchise and well on his way to becoming a Mavericks icon.
And now he plays for a Western Conference rival in the Purple and Gold.
He also seemed particularly fired up for the game, as he picked up a technical foul and was talking some trash in the first half.
He also stared down some of his former teammates on the bench after hitting a three:
Tuesday's game drew plenty of interest and also would have been Davis' first game back in Los Angeles had he not been sidelined by injury. However, the April 9 game may be even more intriguing.
That is when the Lakers hit the road to face the Mavericks in Dallas. It will be the first time Dončić plays in front of the fans that loved him and cheered for him for so long, and their reaction will surely be memorable.
Anything but a warm welcome would be shocking given how upset those fans were with the trade and how they responded in the immediate aftermath of the move.
It would also be surprising if Dončić did anything but put up monster numbers.
