Donald Trump Confirms Eagles Will Be Invited to White House After Super Bowl Win
The Philadelphia Eagles will receive an invitation to the White House after winning the Super Bowl, President Donald Trump confirmed on Tuesday.
"They will be. We haven't yet, but we will be [extending an invitation]," Trump said. "I thought it was a great performance by them. Absolutely, they'll be extended that invitation. ... We're going to do that sometime today. They deserve to be down here and we hope to see them."

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Monday that Philadelphia plans to visit the White House and "looks forward to receiving its invitation."
When the Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2018 during Trump's first term, they initially received an invite to the White House but later had their invitation revoked.
“The Philadelphia Eagles are unable to come to the White House with their full team to be celebrated tomorrow,” a statement from Trump read. “They disagree with their President because he insists that they proudly stand for the National Anthem, hand on heart, in honor of the great men and women of our country. The Eagles wanted to send a smaller delegation, but the 1,000 fans planning to attend the event deserve better."
The Eagles capped off a tremendous 14-3 season with a win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59 earlier this month. Philadelphia dominated the game from the jump, taking a 24-0 lead into halftime and piling on even more in the second half for a final score of 40-22.
Star quarterback Jalen Hurts was named Super Bowl MVP after throwing for 221 yards and two touchdowns on 17-of-22 passing while adding 72 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
With the Super Bowl behind them, the Eagles will now seemingly continue the tradition of championship team White House visits.
