Video: Luka Doncic Ad Released by Jordan Brand Ahead of Lakers vs. Mavs Revenge Game
Luka Dončić has a new Los Angeles Lakers-themed ad with Jordan Brand ahead of Tuesday's matchup against his former team.
The shoe company released an ad showing a purple and gold sports car having its Texas license plate replaced with a California license plate. The license plate also featured Dončić's No. 77.
The ad closes with the message, "Full tank. No mercy."
Dončić and the Lakers will face the Dallas Mavericks for the first time since the blockbuster trade that sent him to Los Angeles in return for Anthony Davis. The phrase featured in Dončić's new ad with Jordan is a fitting one as he'll look to remind his former team what they lost by trading him.
Tuesday's game, which is in Los Angeles, is the first of two chances for Dončić to face his former squad this year. The Lakers will play the Mavericks in Dallas in April, which is sure to be an emotional contest for Dončić after spending nearly seven years with the team.
Dončić had a bit of a slow start with the Lake Show, though that's understandable given he hadn't played for more than a month due to a calf strain. He was his typical self on Saturday in a dominant win over the Denver Nuggets, dropping 32 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and four steals.
