5-Star QB Jared Curtis Will Choose Between Georgia, Oregon; No. 1 QB in Class
Five-star quarterback Jared Curtis, ranked as the No. 1 signal-caller (and No. 2 overall player) on the 247Sports Composite list of high school class of 2026 prospects, will choose between playing for Georgia or Oregon, as told to Hayes Fawcett of On3.
Curtis previously had Auburn and South Carolina on his list but cancelled his official visits to those schools, per Fawcett. He previously listed Ohio State and Alabama as part of his top six.
The 6’4”, 225-pound quarterback plays for Nashville Christian School in Tennessee. Per Arden Cravalho of Oregon Ducks on SI, he has amassed 7,665 yards and 92 touchdowns (19 interceptions) on a 61.6 completion rate while rushing for 1,663 yards and 38 touchdowns.
Curtis previously committed to Georgia but announced that he was re-opening his recruitment in October.
Curtis has the luxury of choosing between two of the best college programs in the country.
Oregon just won the Big Ten and earned the No. 1 seed in the CFP, while Georgia was the No. 2 seed after earning the SEC title.
Now it’s a race between those two to get the top class of 2026 quarterback prospect.
