Bucks' Kyle Kuzma, Model Winnie Harlow Announce Engagement in IG Photos

Milwaukee Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma and model Winnie Harlow are engaged to be married.

The couple announced their engagement on Instagram with a series of pictures from the proposal.

Per Elise Taylor of Vogue, Kuzma proposed on Feb. 13 when the couple took a trip to Turks and Caicos islands.

Harlow told Taylor she initially thought it was just an elaborate Valentine's Day celebration put together by Kuzma.

"I still had no idea what this was,” she said. "I was just like, ‘This is so cute for Valentine’s Day, oh my gosh!"

Kuzma eventually sat Harlow down beside him and began reading a poem that ended with him asking her to marry him, then presenting her with a custom-made 8.5-carat ring.

"I never really asked her what type of ring she liked or anything," Kuzma told Taylor. "I just wanted to draw a picture of what I felt resembled her—something that was elegant, but very timeless and simplistic at the same time."

Kuzma and Harlow have been dating since 2020. She had her breakout in 2014 as a contestant on America's Next Top Model and has since made appearances in several music videos, as well as walking in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

The 29-year-old Kuzma was traded to the Bucks by the Washington Wizards on Feb. 6. He is averaging 16.3 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in four appearances with his new team.
