Kevin Durant Says Warriors' Draymond Green 'Would be an Incredible Head Coach'
Kevin Durant believes Draymond Green has a future in basketball beyond his playing career.
"I think Draymond would be an incredible head coach," he told reporters Sunday.
"I just think he loves being on the floor," he continued. "He loves teaching. He loves that competitive nature, competing on the court. And I think if he would go onto TV [after retirement], he'd just be clawing and itching to get back on the court. So yeah, I think he would be a great coach."
That followed Green saying during the All-Star Weekend coverage that he's already been offered the Golden State Warriors coaching job after he retires, and that he believes he could be a good coach, though he doesn't want to take on the profession:
It was a busy weekend for Green, who also guaranteed a Warriors' championship this year.
