Video: Anthony Edwards Jokes About Getting Traded When Asked About Luka Weight Rumors

The Dallas Mavericks reportedly had issues with Luka Dončić's conditioning habits and weight before shockingly trading him to the Los Angeles Lakers, as the franchise was ostensibly concerned about committing to the $345 million supermax contract he could have signed had he remained in Dallas.

And it is has become something of a joke around the NBA, with Anthony Edwards the latest to poke fun:

It seems highly unlikely that the Minnesota Timberwolves would ever trade the 23-year-old Edwards, who is already a two-time All-Star and was a second-team All-NBA selection last year. This season, he's averaging a cool 27.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.

Then again, it seemed unfathomable that the Mavericks would ever trade Dončić, and here we are.
