
Steph Curry Named 2025 NBA All-Star Game MVP as Team Shaq Wins New Tournament Format
In front of his home fans at Chase Center in San Francisco, Golden State Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry put on a show in the 2025 All-Star Game to earn MVP honors.
Curry led Team Shaq to a 41-25 victory over Team Chuck in the final of the All-Star Game four-team tournament, finishing with 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc. It's his second career All-Star Game MVP award, as he also earned the honor in 2022.

This year's All-Star Game introduced a new format pitting four teams against one another across three games with a target score of 40. Three of the teams consisted of All-Stars drafted by Inside the NBA hosts Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal. The fourth team was the winner of Friday's Rising Stars Game, led by Candace Parker.
Chuck's Global Stars beat Kenny's Young Stars 41-32 in the tournament opener, while Shaq's OGs followed with a 42-35 win over Candace's Rising Stars. Shaq's OGs jumped out to a big lead early in the final and never looked back, as Curry spearheaded the easy win to the delight of the fans at Chase Center.
