Mac McClung Donates Car Used in Historic 2025 NBA Slam Dunk Contest Win to Charity
Following his historic third straight NBA Dunk Contest victory on Saturday, Mac McClung donated the car he used in his second dunk to a foundation in his hometown of Gate City, Virginia, per Shams Charania.
The Orlando Magic G-League player and reigning MVP, McClung, became the first player to win the NBA Slam Dunk contest for the third consecutive year.

The 6'2" guard, notably shorter than his competitors, recorded an impressive 43.5-inch vertical jump at the G-League Combine.
After jumping over a car in the first round, McClung made a statement to the crowd and judges, earning perfect 50s across the board and putting Blake Griffin's famous car-jump dunk to shame.
McClung has had a solid year following his MVP season last year with the Osceola Magic, averaging 17.4 points, 4.7 assists and 3.7 rebounds.
The high-flyer is certainly a major contributor to viewership with his jaw-dropping dunks, yet he is on a two-way deal that, according to Sports Illustrated's Ryan Phillips, provides a rookie-minimum salary. McClung is estimated to be earning around $578,577, significantly less than what he made last season.
Prior to the contest, McClung believed that this All-Star game would be his final.
"I just figured this will probably be my last go around, hopefully, I still got some things left in the tank," McClung said, per Sports Illustrated's Declan Harris.
However, with Ja Morant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Aaron Gordon and Zach LaVine teasing a possible dunk contest performance next year, McClung may need to return to defend his title against the big names in the competition.
