Donovan Mitchell, Mobley Applauded By Fans as Team Cavs Wins 2025 NBA Skills Challenge
The Cleveland Cavaliers' duo consisting of Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley won the 2025 NBA Skills Challenge on Saturday night.
Mitchell and Mobley defeated the Golden State Warriors' tandem of Moses Moody and Draymond Green in the final round by finishing with a 1:00.3 time.
The competition contained some controversy in the first round involving San Antonio Spurs teammates Chris Paul and Victor Wembanyama.
In an effort to finish with the fastest time, Paul and Wembanyama rapidly fired shots in the general direction of the basket during their turn without legitimately attempting to make them. They were later disqualified.
Saturday's win marked the second Skills Challenge victory for the Cavaliers under the team format. Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen and Mobley previously won the contest in 2022.
Fans were impressed with the performance by Mitchell and Mobley.
All-Star festivities aren't over for either player just yet, as they'll both be participating in Sunday's All-Star Game. They're set to be teammates once again, suiting up for Kenny's Young Stars.
The contest will take place at 8 p.m. ET.
