Police said the shooting likely took place near the Park Towne Place apartment complex, located half a mile from where the parade concluded at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, per Palmer.
The women sought treatment at a medical tent along the parade route, at the intersection of Spring Garden St. and 23rd St, according to Jessica MacAulay, Christine Mattson and Stephanie Ballesteros of CBS Philadelphia.
At the time of Palmer's report, the police said it was not yet clear when the shooting occurred or whether the women knew the shooter.
