NFL Scout Says Rams' Cooper Kupp Still A No. 1 or No. 2 WR for 'Almost Any Team'
There's a belief around the NFL that Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp can operate as a top weapon in the passing attack of nearly any team in 2025.
"No question," an NFL scout told Fox Sports' Eric Williams. "The Rams just don't want to pay the market. He's a [WR] 1 or 2 for almost any team. Someone said he's lost lower body quickness. I don't buy that. Puka [Nacua] will never be him in hands or awareness."
Kupp revealed on Feb. 3 that the Rams informed him they were seeking a trade for him "immediately," although he didn't agree with the decision.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The former Offensive Player of the Year still has two seasons remaining on a three-year, $80.1 million contract extension that he signed with Los Angeles in 2022.
If the Rams move Kupp in a trade designated post-June 1, they'll save roughly $20 million toward their 2025 salary cap (h/t ESPN's Sarah Barshop).
The 31-year-old has been hampered by injuries throughout the past few years, playing in just 33 of a possible 51 regular-season games since the start of the 2022 season.
Kupp was limited to 12 games in 2024 due to an ankle injury. He caught 67 passes for 710 yards and six touchdowns.
He put together a historic season during his last completely healthy year in 2021 by leading the NFL in receptions (145), receiving yards (1,947) and touchdown catches (16).
Even though Kupp's stellar 2021 campaign may be in the rearview mirror, he confirmed that he's feeling "as healthy as ever" during his Feb. 3 social media post.
As teams attempt to acquire the Pro Bowl receiver following Los Angeles' confirmed desire to move him, there's confidence that he can still serve as a pillar of a successful offense moving forward.
