NFL News: Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown, Chiefs Reportedly Agree to $11M Contract
After spending the 2024 season with the Kansas City Chiefs, wide receiver Marquise "Hollywood" Brown is reportedly set to run it back for another year.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Brown agreed to re-sign with the Chiefs on a one-year contract worth up to $11 million. He signed a one-year deal with the team last offseason following a two-year stint with the Arizona Cardinals.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The 2024 campaign was one to forget for Brown, as he suffered a dislocated sternoclavicular joint in his shoulder in the preseason that completely derailed his year. He underwent surgery and was placed on injured reserve before returning to the field in Weeks 16 and 17, totaling nine catches for 91 yards and no touchdowns in his two appearances.
Brown appeared in all three of Kansas City's postseason games during the team's run to Super Bowl LIX and recorded five catches for 50 yards. The Chiefs fell to the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22 in the Super Bowl, falling to complete the first three-peat in modern NFL history. Brown had two catches for 15 yards in the Big Game.
The 27-year-old was the No. 25 pick in the 2019 NFL draft by the Baltimore Ravens. He recorded career highs of 91 receptions and 1,008 yards in 2021, his lone 1,000-yard season. Despite his big year, he requested to be traded and was sent to the Cardinals during the 2022 draft.
After his nondescript first season with the Chiefs, Brown will look to make more of an impact in 2025. If he can remain healthy, he will be a solid addition next to rising star receiver Xavier Worthy as Kansas City chases another trip to the Super Bowl.
