Micah Parsons Recruits Myles Garrett to Cowboys, Calls Eagles 'Thanos and Friends'
After watching the Philadelphia Eagles steamroll their way to a Super Bowl title this season, Micah Parsons wasted no time trying to recruit Myles Garrett to the Dallas Cowboys to take down their NFC East rivals in 2025.
Parsons tagged Garrett in a post on social media, with the caption “let’s stop Thanos and friends” with a picture of Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Garrett issued a statement on Feb. 3 announcing that he requested a trade from the Cleveland Browns.
Despite that request, Browns general manager Andrew Berry told reporters on Jan. 28 the team had no interest in trading Garrett even if a team were to make an offer of two first-round draft picks.
One reason Berry might be taking such a hardline stance is because it would be incredibly costly for the Browns to move on from Garrett this offseason. They would get $48.6 million in cap savings over the next three seasons if he’s traded after June 1, but that doesn’t do anything to help Cleveland this season because the draft is in April.
Parsons’ desire to play with Garrett and form arguably the most elite pass-rushing duo in the NFL is certainly tantalizing to think about, but there’s also another problem in this whole situation.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has not exactly been the most aggressive executive in paying the best players already on his team, and before paying Garrett he'd have to give up at least one first-round draft pick.
That could be especially awkward this offseason because Parsons is currently set to play next season on the final year of his rookie contract. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport reported on Sunday the Cowboys have had "some internal discussions about whether to pay Parsons or trade him for a king's ransom.”
This scenario makes no sense because Parsons is four years younger than Garrett and arguably a better player right now.
All of this is to say that Parsons should be pleading with Cowboys management to make a deal happen, not telling Garrett to come to Dallas. There weren’t many teams that proved capable of slowing down the Eagles offense during the 2024 season, but a dynamic duo on the defensive line good at stopping both the run and pass could be the thing that does it.
