Key Matches
Panama vs. USA
In a replay of the 2005 and 2013 finals, the USA will take on Panama in Group A.
In both cases, the United States emerged victorious.
The co-hosts are enjoying an excellent hot streak at the moment of 22 unbeaten home games following Friday's victory over Guatemala, as ESPN's Paul Carr noted on Twitter.
Just in 2015, the USMNT have recorded famous wins over Germany, the Netherlands and rivals Mexico as well as a 2-0 win over Panama.

Even with the win over Guatemala in a warm-up friendly, boss Jurgen Klinsmann demonstrated his desire for perfection with his criticism of the performance, according to J.R. Lind of MLSsoccer.com:
"The performance? Not so nice. I'm not happy with that performance. I'm kind of disappointed with a couple of things: moving off the ball, speed of play, urgency. Things we talked about before were not executed the way we wanted them to be executed.
"
However, there was plenty of cause for optimism in the 4-0 win. Aside from the goals, the U.S.'s pass completion was excellent, per Carr on Twitter.
With time to grow into the tournament before taking on Panama, Klinsmann's charges should have comfortably hit their stride by the time they take on Los Canaleros.

All-time leading scorer Luis Tejada will need to be silenced to assure victory, but the defending champions should have little problem in finishing the group stage in style.
Canada vs. Costa Rica
Costa Rica, who lit up the 2014 World Cup in Brazil with their outstanding performances, can consider themselves genuine challengers for this year's Gold Cup.

La Sele have lost just four times since the start of 2014, and though three of those defeats took place in their last four games, two were against Spain and Colombia, who are a huge cut above the teams they'll face in the Gold Cup.
The likes of Arsenal's Joel Campbell and captain Bryan Ruiz give Costa Rica a heady mixture of exceptional pace and technique up front, and the pair could run riot alongside Alvaro Saborio, who currently sits in third place on Costa Rica's all-time scoring charts.
With the likes of Keylor Navas and Bryan Oviedo missing due to injury, La Sele will not be quite as formidable at the back as they might have been, but Canada boast relatively little firepower up front.
Cyle Larin could prove a threat, having scored in each of Canada's last three matches, but ultimately, Costa Rica are the likely victors here.
Expect Paulo Wanchope's side to enjoy a deep run into the tournament as they build on an excellent two years of football with a series of strong performances here.
