Lakers' LeBron James Hypes Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves in IG Photo: '🥶 as 🗣️F!!!!!!'
LeBron James is a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers' new starting lineup.
James posted a photo on Instagram of himself, Austin Reaves and Luka Dončić sharing the court for the first time together Monday against the Utah Jazz.
"1️⃣5️⃣&7️⃣7️⃣ 🥶 as 🗣️F!!!!!! Lucky Me!" James wrote in his caption.
James was already hyping up playing with Dončić ahead of the former Mavericks star's Lakers debut.
The NBA shared a video earlier on Saturday of James wearing the No. 77 shirt the Lakers were giving away to fans while shooting before the game.
"23 plus 77 is 100," James said in the video. "Let's get it."
Dončić, who had last played Dec. 25 before sitting out his last month as a Maverick with a left calf strain, put up 14 points while playing 24 minutes in his Lakers debut.
James, Reaves and Rui Hachimura meanwhile each put up a 20-spot to lead the Lakers to a 132-113 victory over the Jazz.
James may have been sad to see longtime teammate Anthony Davis leave for Dallas. Considering the pre-deadline report from ESPN's Shams Charania that James wanted the Lakers to make a move toward title contention, however, it makes sense he's excited to play the rest of the season alongside Dončić.
Dončić, James and Reaves are slated to play their second game together when the Lakers return for a rematch against the Jazz on Wednesday night in Salt Lake City.
