Nick Kyrgios Has to Turn Official Wimbledon Headband Inside-Out

Sean SwabyJul 3, 2015

Wimbledon's official headband is simply too colourful to be worn in an official Wimbledon match.

Nick Kyrgios found that out the hard way.

While the Aussie faced Milos Raonic in his third-round match on Court No. 2 on Friday, he came out wearing Wimbledon's official head swag.

However, he was told not once but twice that he had to turn his headband inside-out because it violated the dress code.

"

Here he is with the offending headband:

And here he is later with the offending headband but less colourful:

He wasn't incredibly compelled to do a deep dive on the budding headgear controversy after the match.

Then again, despite disposing of Raonic 5-7, 7-5, 7-6, 6-3, he was fielding questions about his fashion statements.

Well, that and some fan in a Batman shirt.
