Belarus vs. Spain: Team News, Predicted Lineups, Live Stream & TV Info
Spain will be heavy favourites when they resume their UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying campaign against Belarus. However, some key injuries in midfield coupled with a long and daunting trip could cause problems for manager Vicente del Bosque's talented squad.
Del Bosque is taking charge of his 100th game as national team manager, according to the English arm of Catalan publication Sport. He has big choices to make both in midfield and along the forward line.

The chief injury doubt facing Del Bosque is the absence of Andres Iniesta. The tricky Barcelona schemer is dealing with muscle pain, following the rigours of his club's treble-winning campaign, according to an Associated Press report (h/t ESPN FC).

While Iniesta's guile and skill will certainly be missed, the enthusiasm, verve and pace from the flanks of international new boy Alex Vidal could also prove a vital loss. The former Sevilla man, who has since joined Iniesta at Barcelona, injured his ankle during his Spain debut in a recent friendly against Costa Rica, per ESPN FC writer Dermot Corrigan.
Of course, Spain is one nation more than capable of dealing with some thinning to the midfield ranks. Few footballing countries are blessed with so many gifted playmakers in the middle.
Del Bosque can still choose between the likes of Chelsea pass master Cesc Fabregas, Atletico Madrid talisman Koke and Real Madrid technician Isco. It's safe to assume the experienced international boss will go with the former two as key parts of a midfield five that should still count Sergio Busquets as its anchor.
Del Bosque tends to trust Isco and Koke as his starters in the more important matches, while also making room for Manchester City's creative ace David Silva.
But the manager's more interesting decision will involve who is the target for Spain's legion of gifted passers in midfield. Juventus No. 9 and former Real Madrid prospect Alvaro Morata seems the logical choice.
Yet he is barely a week removed from representing the Turin club in the UEFA Champions League final. That could open the door for highly talented Valencia goal-getter Paco Alcacer.
Alcacer has a natural poacher's instinct. The 21-year-old Los Che man is an exceptional finisher whose pace between the lines may suit Spain's passing style better than target man Morata.
Del Bosque may be willing to indulge an experiment or two against a Belarus side that's won just one of its five Group C matches, according to UEFA's official site.
Yet the Eastern European nation can still count ageing midfield maestro Alexander Hleb as its most promising threat. The 34-year-old still possesses exceptional close control when running with the ball.
Hleb hasn't lost the knack for going past players, nor has the vision for creating chances deserted him. Coach Aleksandr Khatskevich can also rely on striker Sergei Kornilenko to make himself a nuisance in the opposition box.

Of course, the major problem facing Belarus at the Borisov Arena will be getting on the ball often enough to feed Hleb and Kornilenko with possession and chances. Not many teams see the ball often against Spain; if Khatskevich's men don't, it will be a very long night for Belarus.
Del Bosque named a 29-man squad, according to Tom Conn of Inside Spanish Football. Expect Iker Casillas to continue in goal behind a defence featuring Sergio Ramos and Gerard Pique in the middle. That partnership will be flanked by full-backs Juan Bernat and Juanfran.
The midfield will be underpinned by Busquets behind Isco, Koke and Silva, with the latter joining Alcacer and Pedro to provide plenty of verve, creativity and pace in attack.
Prediction: Belarus 0-3 Spain
Expect the Spanish to boss the passing in midfield and fashion a trio of goals from some typically astute and intricate combinations.
