Steven Gerrard has left Liverpool, but he's still got a gripe with the club as a result of Brendan Rodgers' decision to axe several members of the staff. 

The Northern Irishman sacked coaches Colin Pascoe and Mike Marsh, and legendary former captain Gerrard didn't seem pleased with the moves. 

Gerrard was in "shock" over the move in Mirror Sport.

Star Sport says Gerrard is hoping Rodgers will "come clean" over the sackings and that Newcastle are going after Steve McClaren for their now-vacant managerial position.
