College Football's Most Important Offers of the Week
Wide receiver is one of the top priorities for Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn and his staff in the 2016 cycle.
Although the Tigers lost a commitment from 5-star receiver Nate Craig-Myers early last month, they rebounded by landing 4-star Florida standout Eli Stove.
Last week, Malzahn and his staff tendered a pair of touted 4-star out-of-state pass-catchers in Donnie Corley and Brad Hawkins.
Both players are among the nation’s best, and both boast offers from top programs across the country.
Corley, who hauled in 47 receptions for 1,087 yards and 18 touchdowns as a junior, rates as the No. 109 player overall in the 2016 class.
The 6'2", 180-pound Detroit product holds 30 offers, including Alabama, Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State.
Hawkins is a 6'2" 190-pounder who rates as the sixth-best 2016 prospect from the state of New Jersey.
He currently holds more than 25 offers, including Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and South Carolina, among others.
The Tigers are looking to land three or four receivers in the 2016 cycle, so it isn’t a surprise to see them casting a wide net.
The next step for the Tigers will be to see if they can convince Corley and Hawkins to head south for a visit to campus, which would signal that Auburn has a shot to become a factor in their recruitment moving forward.

Michigan Offers Touted 2016 RB, Who Promptly Commits
Early last week, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh and his staff offered 4-star Indiana running back Chris Evans.
Less than a week later, the 5'11" 186-pounder made the decision to end his recruitment and join the Wolverines' 2016 class, according to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports.

Over the last two years at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, Davis has accounted for 2,895 yards of total offense and 40 total touchdowns.
He selected Michigan over offers from Cincinnati, Michigan State and Minnesota among others.
Oregon, Florida Offer Top 2016 TE
Touted 4-star tight end prospect Cary Angeline was busy last week, as he picked up offers from Florida and Oregon.
The 6'7" 230-pounder now has more than 30 offers to his credit, with powers such as Alabama, Miami, Notre Dame and Penn State among his most noted suitors.
Angeline hauled in 67 receptions for 1,051 yards and 10 scores as a junior.
The Gators have yet to nab a pledge from a tight end, while the Ducks have 3-star Cameron McCormick already committed.
According to his Crystal Ball page, the Nittany Lions and the Irish are the two schools currently trending with Angeline.
2017 ATH Nets Big Offers from Texas Powers
One prospect who has been active on the spring camp circuit is 4-star athlete Jamyest Williams.
Last week, the talented Georgia native toured a number of schools across the Southeast, but he began his trip in Texas.
Williams, who took home MVP honors for the defensive backs segment at the Nike Football Opening Regionals in Atlanta in March, rates as the No. 14 athlete and the No. 111 player overall in the 2017 class.
