Jim Harbaugh Goes Shirtless at Football Development Camp, Does Not Give 1 Damn

If you're familiar with Jim Harbaugh, you're aware that his damn reservoir has been running on empty for decades.

He is out of damns. He hasn't had one damn to give since the Reagan administration. 

In this spirit, the Michigan Wolverines head coach went full Spurrier at his satellite football development camp in Prattville, Alabama, on Friday afternoon.

Fully invested as always, Harbaugh popped the top and joined his campers for a game of Peru football—a hybrid game blending elements of football, rugby and soccer. Shirts versus skins. Presumably no mercy.

Now, Jim Harbaugh does not have to do this. At all.

Like any other head coach of a major college program, his responsibility at summer camps is to show up late, say a couple of words after practice and laugh as he collects his campers' parents' money.

But Harbaugh doesn't care what he has to or is supposed to do. He wants to play skins in the heat, because this is a man for whom sunburns and self consciousness are foreign concepts. He's aware of them but only as vague inconveniences, like death or the metric system.

With that in mind, let shirtless Harbaugh be your inspiration this summer: Pop the top, leave your damns at home and let the haters do what haters do.
