Fan Runs on Field and Delivers Flying Kick to Venezuelan Forward's Back
An awful and violent and pointless thing occurred in the minutes after a Venezuelan soccer match when a fan ran onto the field and attacked a player during a post-match interview.
Twitter user @WittyFutty posted video of the attack.
Carabobo FC forward Aquiles Ocanto was discussing his side's 0-0 draw against Aragua with Meridiano Television reporter Maria Alexandra Bastidas when a man in a yellow shirt flew into the frame and Liu Kang'd him square in the back.

The blow looked devastating, with Ocanto's head snapping back violently from the impact.
Here's real-time video of the buildup to the attack, posted by YouTube user Branyer Vergara:
Fortunately, Carabobo issued a statement saying Ocanto was not injured in the attack. The team also condemned the acts of violence that continue to mar the world's most popular sport.
Carabobo's statement, per the Guardian: "Achilles Ocanto is well and has not sustained any injury. We reject such acts of violence in football," the team tweeted Wednesday night.
As of Thursday morning, Ocanto's attacker remains at large.
Dan is on Twitter. Don't run on the field. Don't kick people. Don't do any of this.
