Chris RolingMay 11, 2015

Fresh on the heels of the Nike Elite Series Team Collection released in April, Kevin Durant, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant are back again with the Nike Basketball Elite Series Elevate Collection.

This time, the rethought colorways of the KOBE X Elite, KD7 Elite and LEBRON 12 come fresh at kick enthusiasts bathed in blues, grays and more just in time for the scathing heat of summer.

Here are the release details to know, via Nike.com:

Featured Footwear captured a picture of the three shoes together:

It's hard to miss this edition of the KD7 Elite.

Splashed in a metallic blue and silver, with what the website calls "Obsidian," this version of Durant's shoe also features perforation to promote breathability.

SneakerBlazed reveals the front:

The shoe has some competition, though.

As far as resembling the summer sky, or perhaps a bit of the ocean, this iteration of the LEBRON 12 comes with innovative colors such as "Hot Lava" and "Sunset Glow" to create a can't-miss edition.

SneakerNews.com gets close and personal with the new take on the design:

Sole-U provides a close look at the backside of the kicks, along with a peek inside:

While Durant's shoe featured Flywire technology and extra cushioning to complement the perforation, the performance side of James' latest offering centers on strength. Nike.com explains:

"

The shoe now features six visible, independent Nike Zoom Air units that provide low profile, responsive cushioning. The strategic placement of the pods is engineered for James's explosiveness and his multidirectional movement.

"

Last, but in no way least, the next take on Bryant's shoe catches the eye, too.

Equipped with innovative traction and cushioning, this one features "Wolf Grey" with a green hue on the bottom.

SneakerNews.com zooms in on the sneaker:

Like the others in the collection, this pair features design decisions from Bryant himself, which helps to create the best possible blend of performance and look.

The Nike Elite Series Team Collection didn't disappoint, and early returns show this iteration of the series won't either. The best part? The Nike Elite Series Rose Gold Collection is still on the way in June.

For now, the blues and grays of the Elevate collection are here and provide a fresh blast to combat the heat of summer.
