NFL Power Rankings: Latest League Review Before Start of 2015 Draft
A lot is going to change in the NFL in the next week, as the NFL draft will alter quite a few rosters next weekend. But that doesn't mean we can't take a look at all the NFL teams as they stand now and rank them.
Below, you'll find my full power ranking and a breakdown of my choices. Keep in mind, this is a predraft power ranking, so it could easily change in the next week. But as these teams stand now, this is how I rank them.

Analysis
When a team wins the Super Bowl in 2013, is a strange play call away from winning it again in 2014, keeps the core of its roster intact in the offseason and adds Jimmy Graham via a trade, well, yes, it is going to be atop my list.
The Seattle Seahawks are really, really good. Russell Wilson has developed into one of the best players in the game. The defense remains as good as any in the league. Marshawn Lynch can still pound teams into submission with his violent running style. No team in the NFL has a better home-field advantage. And adding Graham—one of the most dynamic offensive weapons in football—puts the Seahawks over the top.
Yes, the New England Patriots are the champions until they are eliminated from Super Bowl contention this upcoming season. But the fact that they lost Darrelle Revis, Vince Wilfork and Brandon Browner is going to affect them in a major way on defense.
I never underestimate Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. But at this moment, I think the Seahawks are better.
I think the Indianapolis Colts are better too. Andrew Luck is the best young player in football, the Colts reached the AFC title game last year, and veteran free-agent additions such as Andre Johnson, Frank Gore, Trent Cole and Kendall Langford are going to give them the last little push to the top of the AFC.
I don't anticipate the Patriots or the Denver Broncos making that ascension easy—if Peyton Manning can stay healthy, the Broncos are still a scary team—but this is the year the Colts get over that final hurdle.
In the NFC, the Green Bay Packers and the Arizona Cardinals seem to be the most likely foils for the Seahawks. Aaron Rodgers is the best player in football at the moment (with all due respect to J.J. Watt), and you can make a compelling argument that the Packers lost the NFC title game at the end as much as the Seahawks won it.
For the Cardinals, keeping Carson Palmer healthy is the key. There is a strong foundation in place in Arizona, and a good draft could make the Cardinals even more dangerous. If Palmer remains healthy, the Cardinals will make noise.
The San Francisco 49ers will bounce back with a new regime in town. They have too much talent not to, even with the loss of players such as Gore and Patrick Willis.
Two playoff teams in the NFC that could regress somewhat are the Dallas Cowboys and the Detroit Lions. The Cowboys lost DeMarco Murray, and they have an unhappy Dez Bryant at the moment as well as an aging and brittle Tony Romo to protect. The Lions, meanwhile, are going to feel the loss of Ndamukong Suh.
Watch out for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC. It's hard to judge the Eagles now, as Chip Kelly has the entire NFL on tilt, but the Eagles—for all of the madness of their offseason—added some nice pieces as well. Atlanta has an easy schedule and a lot of talent on offense, and it plays in the weak NFC South.
In the AFC, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals will return to the postseason, but I expect a regression for the Baltimore Ravens, a team that lost players such as Torrey Smith and Haloti Ngata this offseason (Ngata will help the Lions, but he won't have Suh's impact). In Baltimore's place, I expect the Miami Dolphins to break through and reach the postseason.
They need to bolster the wide receiver position in the draft, yes, but I like a lot of the moves they made, namely signing Suh and Jordan Cameron, a dangerous weapon if he can stay healthy.
There are a few teams I like on this list but can't rank higher because they don't have trustworthy quarterbacks, namely the Houston Texans, the Buffalo Bills and the St. Louis Rams (I'm not a big Nick Foles guy). Those teams are on the right track, but they need signal-callers to get them over the hump.
