Non-League Footballer Jason Hart Sacked for Sleeping with Fan in Team Dugout

Jason Hart will be ruing his decision to follow his impulses after being on the wrong end of a 4-1 defeat. 

Non-league side Clitheroe FC of the Evo-Stik Division One North sacked Hart when a video made the rounds on social media of Hart sleeping with a female supporter in the dugout. 

Apparently, the deed was done while he was still wearing his Clitheroe shirt. 

Hart's actions hardly amused club Chairwoman Anne Barker. She said, as per the team's official website (h/t Who Ate All The Pies): 

"

I can't have somebody wearing the Clitheroe FC tracksuit bringing us down. 

It has brought the club into disrepute and it's not proper for him to scupper our reputation. I expect our players to act professionally. 

It was brought to my attention on Saturday night and dealt with through the management. 

I did offer to speak to him myself but (manager Simon Garner) said he would take care of it.

Hart has a longtime girlfriend, Bryony Hibbert, and two children. Per the Mirror, she vented at those who took video of the act in question and circulated it. 

"Have a bit of decency for the people it's affected—thank God my kids are too young to read. 

"It's disgusting. I bet their families are far from perfect." 

Making matters worse, the final match of the season was also dubbed "Ladies Day" in hopes that more women would attend the match. 

He apologised in the same Mirror piece. 

"I'm full of regret—I'd had a couple of drinks. I was away from everyone and thought I was hidden."
