Didier Drogba, Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane to Form Dream Forward Line
Didier Drogba and Ronaldo up front with Zinedine Zidane playing just behind them?
This sounds like a dream, but it will soon be a reality.
The trio have all signed up for a charity match in France to help tackle poverty.
As per a United Nations Development Programme press release:
"Football superstar and Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has joined a star-studded array of international active and retired players for the 12th Annual Match Against Poverty which will take place on 20 April at the Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium in Saint-Etienne, France.
Didier Drogba, who like Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane is also a UNDP Goodwill Ambassador, will team up with the other football stars for a match against an AS St-Etienne All Stars team to help boost Ebola recovery efforts.
"
With the likes of Cafu, Clarence Seedorf, Edwin van der Sar, Eric Abidal, Christian Karembeu, Youri Djorkaeff and Fabien Barthez also signed up, we will certainly be watching.
It is all for a great cause too.
